Since you don’t have a traditional office, how and where do I meet for my Free Initial Consultation?

Once you text/call/email me, I will connect with you and have a follow-up communication (whatever method works best for you) to understand your situation. I can either come to your place of business/residence or you can to my home-office for in-person meeting. Depending on nature of your needs, we can even meet at a coffee shop!  


How/where did your name Ruble come from?

It was very common in Bangladesh to give children long names as legal names but call by shorter/nick names. My full name Shamsul Alam is from the Arabic origin that means “Sun of the World” and Pataray is a family name given to my family by the British! There were 4 of us boys born around the same time. Our moms decided to call us by shorter/nick names and used foreign currency for that. Names like Dollar, Dinar, Riyal, and Ruble. Yes, my short/nick name is Russian (formally USSR) Currency! By the way, my dad’s side of the family called me Masud, meaning Fortunate.  Here are names of my 5 other brothers and my sister. Mahabub Alam (Rana), Nur Alam (Razan), Jahngir Alam (Rupon), Sha Alam (Regan), Kharirul Alam (Ramon), and Nazma Islam (Bristi).

Are you an honest tax preparer?

I am Honest with everyone and every situation. I had few good teachers and mentors over the years who installed "being honest to yourself and others" in me. With my independent and critical thinking, I see through biases. My agnostic belief forces me to question things. My emotional intelligence allows me to see things from different prospectives.
